As just one part of the “Full Nelson”, Jennifer Nelson brings to the company over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry; specifically marketing, advertising and public relations. Her experience in Los Angeles, prior to moving to Texas, including DreamWorks, Disney, House of Blues and Warner Bros. taught Jennifer what it takes to succeed at a company of any size! 

At SlingShot Entertainment where she held the title of Director of Marketing and Product Development.  In this position, she supervised the release of over 50 DVD titles. Prior to joining SlingShot, Jennifer was the Marketing Manager for the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip.  Nelson also held the position of Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Stan Lee Media, a new media venture from Marvel Comics icon, Stan Lee where she oversaw all public relations, marketing and special events. 

Additional production credits include the television show Extra, where Jennifer served in the capacity of Creative Affairs Coordinator; DreamWorks Animation where she negotiated and drafted employment agreements for a division that grew from 10 to 150 people in six months, and Saban Entertainment’s Animation Division.

She is experienced in graphic design, printing and sourcing of large quantities of collateral material, event production, animation, live-action production, online entertainment and business affairs. She possesses a strong business sense and knowledge of the industry, coupled with skills in marketing, web design, social media marketing, public relations, business administration and management. Also, she’s a strong leader who is detail oriented and able to multi-task while eager to take on additional projects with a proven track record for completing projects on time and on budget. 

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from California State University, Northridge.

The other half of Full Nelson Productions is her husband Lennie.  Together they have two children and a crazy beagle, Willie Nelson.  The Nelsons enjoy traveling and road tripping in their RV.  Jennifer is passionate about yoga and enjoys teaching at studios in Boerne and San Antonio.
